Ayeka Jurai

Yes, there are people out there who actually like Ayeka! I am one of them. Maybe I have a thing for kimonos, I'm really not sure. But anyway as low-key and subdued as Ayeka can be.. she also has a devious streak which is just great to watch in action! (The incident in Tenchi Universe episode 2 comes to mind) She has purple hair too.. (a perk in my book.. hehe) |
Masaki Tenchi

Poor Tenchi. (???) I don't know if I should feel sorry for him or be jealous. ^_- Yet who would have thought that the apparent main character of a series is merely (I use that word loosely) a plot device?! Without Tenchi none of the others would have found their way to the Masaki household. But being of Jurai lineage is nothing to sneeze at. And I wouldn't blink if I saw the Light Hawk wings either. |

And in the kawaii corner... how can I seperate these two? Yes Ryo-Ohki technically belongs to Ryoko, but how often are Sasami and Ryo-Ohki separated? Not very often, thus why they both manage to fill the same space in my Tenchi list-o-favorites. I think my screen is melting from all the cuteness in this frame. ^_- |

What's this? Someone who 'prefers' Ayeka but does not hate Ryoko? <gasp!> And they said it wasn't possible! But it's true. While Ryoko's brashness may not be my usual cup of tea, she does have a bit of a soft side that occasionally peeks out. Occasionally. But the best part is when Washu puts her in her place. (in the OVAs) And just what is the deal with "Here Comes Jurai pt 2"??!! ::shudder:: |

What ever will we do with Mihoshi? She's a good Galaxy Police officer... when she's not napping, or snacking. Hmm... But you have to like Mihoshi's knack for saying the wrong thing at the right time. Poor Kiyone... |
Makibi Kiyone

The only sane person in the entire world of Tenchi! Kiyone is definitely an admirable character. She has made tolerating Mihoshi into an art form (much to her dismay) and doesn't have a single significant quirk about her! But she also is the unluckiest woman in the universe. Gomen nasai Kiyone... someday you'll find life without Mihoshi.. we hope! |

Masaki Nobuyuki

This is Tenchi's role model? The way Nobuyuki acts its hard to believe Tenchi is his son, they are complete opposites. He seems far more interested in the girls than Tenchi is, for sure. He's a funny guy though, when he's not trying to peep on the girls! |
Misaki Jurai

I just HAVE to mention Misaki, Ayeka and Sasami's mother. Despite her being in only one episode of the OVAs, she is one of the funniest characters in the entire series! She goes all to pieces when anything remotely cute is in her line of sight, and the things Sasami and especially Ayeka have to do to make her happy. ^_^ |
