Nothing unexpected to be found in the second TV installment of the series. In this case, though, that's not a bad thing. Plot Summary The Review That said, there are some new things that happen the second time around. Chances are they are drawn from the manga, but I have not read enough of it to know for certain. Each of the goddesses gets their own story arc which lasts a few episodes, so no matter which one(s) you're a fan of, you'll get a nice story featuring her. Secondary characters are present, though not as frequently, however some still receive an episode or two which features them. That's about it. This second season is very much episodic, with no real overall story arc, but Ah! My Goddess doesn't really need one to work well. The finale is low key and different, but it works perfectly for this cast of characters. If you're already a fan of the series, there's no need to hesitate to see the second season. Ah! My Goddess fans will get more of exactly what they want with this installment. |
